Our goal is to provide fast, constructive feedback and editing support for the research/personal statements of PhD applicants in psychology, with an emphasis on underrepresented minorities and/or those who are not ‘in the know.’

What’s happening?

Here’s what’s happening in our fifth and biggest year yet:

  • The 2024 Applicant Submission Form is now closed.

  • Editor registration is closed, and editors are training! Missed registration? Sign up to be on our 2025 Editor Email List here.

The ASFP 2024 Timeline:

  • Monday ,October 14 - Wednesday, October 23 at 6pm PT (9pm ET): Editor registration

  • Friday, October 25 at 1pm PT (4pm ET): Required New Editor Training

  • Monday, October 28 - Thursday, October 31 at 6pm PT (9pm ET): Applicant Submission Portal open

  • Friday, November 1 at 9am PT (12pm ET): Optional Editor Workshop

  • Saturday, November 2 - Thursday, November 7: The edit-a-thon

  • Friday, November 8: Feedback is reviewed & packaged

  • Saturday, November 9 by 9pm PT (midnight ET): Feedback returned to applicants
